THE TRACTION PROCESS:

  • Our professionals perform a Safety Audit and inspect your hard surface
    floors to determine if our Safety Products will work for your surfaces.
  • Next, we treat a small area of the surface demonstrating how our
    applications will increase the traction of your floors and comply with all
    rules and regulations.
  • We measure the chosen area and draft a Proposal specific to your situation
    - you set the priorities.
  • If desired, a presentation with your key peers follows showing how Sure
    Step Solutions professionally brings your company into compliance (e.g.,
    OSHA, ADA).
  • We apply the treatment - working with you to keep the process as non-
    disruptive as possible (most of the time we finish before you open for
    business the next day).
  • We return periodically to ensure your complete satisfaction - and continue
    to come back to ensure ongoing safety and high traction compliance - for 2
    years!
As verified by Smith Emery Laboratories, our SAFE SOLUTION treatment brings
non-porous, hard surfaces into compliance with ADA, OSHA, ASTM, ANSI, National
Safety Council, SlipStoppers and National Floor Safety Institute standards which
mandate a coefficient of friction of 0.50 or more.
In fact, depending upon specific surface and type, SAFE SOLUTION treatment
creates a coefficient of 0.60 - 0.80 which is labeled "High Traction".
